Before Kai writes an email, Michael has already researched the recipient.
Michael is the lead sourcing specialist on the outreach team under Kai. His job: find the right companies and decision-makers in the DACH trades before anyone types a single email. He searches public sources, industry directories, trade chambers and LinkedIn for businesses that match the ideal customer profile. No mass lists — qualified contacts with context.
Specifically: he identifies managing directors, operations managers and owners of trade businesses with between 10 and 200 employees. He checks currency (is the person still in that role?), spots trigger events (new job postings, location expansion, grant awards) and enriches every contact with relevant data points. Every lead he hands to Kai comes with a concrete hook — not just an email address.
Michael works in batches: every week he delivers a fresh list of qualified contacts that Kai feeds into his outreach sequences. He maintains the database continuously — duplicates removed, outdated contacts flagged, opt-outs blocked permanently.
His sourcing process is structured: define industry → search sources → verify contacts → assign trigger events → hand off to Kai. Every contact goes through an initial qualification: does the industry fit? Is the company size right? Is there a current hook? Only what meets all three criteria makes it into the pipeline.
He works directly under Kai and coordinates closely with Julia — the leads Michael sources land in Julia's demo calendar once they respond to Kai's sequence.
Michael doesn't source lists — he delivers qualified contacts with trigger events. 3 minutes of research per lead. 120 leads a month. Kai always has material for sequences that don't sound like spam.
~28 hours a month back — 120 qualified leads with context, instead of days of manual research.
We'll show you in the strategy call how Michael builds your lead pipeline — qualified, current, with context for every outreach.
